Nov. 6 is General Election Day

Unless you've been living in space for the past six months, you know that today is General Election Day. Finally. After being inundated with political commercials, politi-bullied (I just made that up) on Facebook, and glossy, expensive paper ads in your snail mail box, the Presidential Election is finally here.

The amount of time, effort and money people have spent trying to sway the vote in states which have made up their minds months ago has been appalling. Most people know how they're going to vote. Arguing, begging, slinging mud and generally annoying voters has not changed our minds. We are all going to vote for the candidate we want in office, or at the very least least we'll vote against who we don't want in office.

* In addition to voting for the President, voters choose their local representatives and answer yes or no to state ballot questions.

It's our right. Get out and vote!
