Sat. Sept. 29 is Museum Day
Enjoy free admission to a participating museum. Smithsonian Magazine brings you a free day of fun and education with Museum Day. You're sure to find a museum to visit among the list of 400. All you need to do is locate the museum you want to attend today, sign up with your email and you'll receive a ticket in your email. Print it and bring it to the museum.
Find the list here (http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/).

* The free ticket is only good for two people.
- This can still be a good deal for people with young kids who normally enter for free. Personally, I don't mind paying for one adult admission and receiving free admission for one adult and one child is too old to gain free admission anymore.
* One free ticket per household.
* Go early. Free museum events tend to fill up after lunch. If the museum reaches capacity, you'll have to wait until someone leaves before you can enter.
* Extra events and parking are not free. Check the details on the website of the participating museum. Some museums provide free parking.
